Are there any fees?

 We apply a 10% transaction fee for each item based on the total listing price. To illustrate, if you decide to rent an item for $100.00 per day, Rease will impose a $10.00 transaction fee.

When will I get my Bond Back?

You can expect the bond refund three days after returning the item, unless there are outstanding amounts owed, the item hasn't been returned, it's lost or damaged, or if you've violated any terms outlined in the leasing agreement.

How and when will I receive my payment?

 After completing a booking and returning the item, Stripe will process your funds within a timeframe of up to 48 hours, transferring the amount directly to your designated bank account.

What is GreenId and why do I need to use it?

Green ID is our third party use ID verifcation platfrom that ensures sercuity in every transaction and interaction that happens through Mateslend.

What is Stripe and why do I need an account?

Stripe is a payment service provider that lets merchants accept credit and debit cards or other payments. Using Stripe, Mateslend can offer a secure platform for creating listings and receiving payments.  Mateslend users create a Stripe account through the app ensuring a smooth and trustworthy transaction experience for both lenders and borrowers.

What is the process for returns?

For a transaction to be finalized, the owner must indicate the item as returned. In case the renter doesn't return the item by the due date, the owner can opt for 'not returned,' resulting in daily charges until the item is returned. 

What if my product is damaged?

In the event a product leased through MatesLend is damaged please contact our help centre. If we cannot assist in resolving the dispute through cooperation the set bond amount will be allocated to the leaser

Does MatesLend insure me?
